Though we integrate with WooCommerce, because of the complexity and wide range of the WooCommerce/Wordpress platform there are a number of limitations and features not available with this integration as compared to other standard delivery channels.
At the moment, the integration between Deliverect and WooCommerce only supports a limit of 100 item products. When trying to push a menu larger than this limit from Deliverect to WooCommerce, it will fail.
Snoozing functionality is not supported with modifier groups.
For any single menu product, there is a limit of 4 modifier groups that can be attached. Within each modifier group, there can also only be a max of 5 modifier options. For any single product, you cannot have more than one modifier group with the same name attached. Modifiers will also display as a dropdown option as opposed to a checkmark selection, therefore only 1 modifier per group can be selected for each product.
A workaround to the above limitations is to create separate modifier groups with different names so that the customer can then mix and match their selection (E.g. “Sauces 1” and “Sauces 2” below).
Deliverect’s API integration was designed to support limited Plugins for WooCommerce to allow you to build a complete webstore. The supported Plugins are:
- WooCommerce Order Delivery
- Iconic Delivery Slots
Other Plugins may be supported but we cannot guarantee the impact from the Deliverect integration. It is strongly recommended to have a backup of your Wordpress site to be able to restore your page in case the integration causes any errors.
To support the integration between Deliverect and WooCommerce, you must be on a WooCommerce version of 3.5.x or higher and Wordpress version 4.4 or higher.
