If you already have a menu on a channel, you can request it to be imported by your Deliverect account manager. The benefit is that you retain the existing menu structure, product images, descriptions, prices, etc.
This feature is not yet supported by all channels, please check with your Deliverect account manager for details.
Once your menu has been imported, it is necessary to link your products to those in your POS. Follow the steps below to learn how.
Step 1. Open your menu in Deliverect by going to the Menus page via the sidebar (1), click on your menu and choose Manage Menu Items (2).
Step 2. Click on a the product for linking. They are identified by a red border.
Step 3. Deliverect will suggest a product based on the name. Alternatively, you can use the categories and search bar. Click on the product once you have found it and then click on the Link Product button.
Step 4. The red outline will then be removed. Repeat this process until all products are linked. You can also click on the product if you need to adjust its information, price, etc.
In the menu, you will see this bar as well. Just as you linked the products you may link modifiers and modifiers groups as well.
If your products have the modifiers and modifier groups linked properly in the POS. When you link the main product to the POS product, these modifiers will come along, so you don't need to perform the above action.
Matching modifier groups from Uber to the ones in the POS turns very useful if you manage different names for them in the POS and in the Delivery platforms. If that is the case, then it's worth doing the linking.
To match them, you just need to click on either Link modifier group or Link modifiers (depending on what you wish to do). A list will appear with all the items that need linking.
Click on the red icon to the right and based on the name of the item we will give you some suggestions from the existing POS modifier groups. You can select right there the one you wish to link.
If within the suggestions is not the proper item, just delete the name and the whole list will appear.
Select the correct one and click on the link button at the bottom left.
You will see the product has been linked because the PLU appears now in the column.
Once this is done, you will notice that the name of your modifier group will change from the POS name to the name it had in the Delivery Channel.
