Before we jump into the Lightspeed settings, an important message:
Only after accepting the order on the tablet from Uber Eats, Deliveroo,..., the order will be sent to Lightspeed.
To give you an example, below is a Deliveroo order flow. So in practice, this means that only when you tap "accept" on the delivery partner's tablet, the orders are sent to Lightspeed and added to the takeout screen.
What are the different possibilities in Lightspeed?
From the list below, choose which flow you want to use in your restaurant:

IMPORTANT: if you want Lightspeed to automatically print orders, you need to be logged in with a user on Lightspeed! You can download the Lightspeed <> Deliverect (EN) flyer for more information on this matter.
Set-up guide
Go to Lightspeed > Devices > Restaurant App Settings > Profiles.
Scroll down to "General Settings".
- This setting disables the iPad going into sleep mode (IMPORTANT).
- If you select this, the order needs to be manually sent to the kitchen, but it will auto-finalize after a while.
- If you select this, the order is automatically sent to the kitchen.
- If you select this, the order is automatically sent to the kitchen and auto-finalized after a while.
- If you enable this feature, a sound is played with every order that comes into Lightspeed. This only works if you manually send tickets to the kitchen - so only if you have selected 2.
- These are the settings to change how often or how long Lightspeed will make a sound if 5 is enabled.
Let's see how you need to set that up:

Customer information on your receipts
Please enable "show customer" on all the printer templates you use (kitchen template + receipt template).
Enabling this feature will ensure that the following items are printed:
- Customer notes
- Customer name (if it is sent to Deliverect)
- The customer address (if it is sent to Deliverect)
The criterium for showing this information is that the delivery channel needs to send this to us.
